I studied mechanical engineering in undergrad, and later robotics engineering as a masters student, both at Johns Hopkins. After joining APL I became interested in deep reinforcement learning, and have since been working in AI for the last ten years. I am currently working in imitation learning and large models for robotics.

I started this site (2024) to collect my notes and thoughts in a single place, and to add some pressure to make these formal and complete. Much of my work is not public, and many of these posts serve as informal commentary or miniature experiments rather than a review of my major projects.

Outside of work, I like to cook. Among all the tech jargon, a recipe may appear every once and a while.
